Perry Como brings back memories, good ones on this sad day. He was my mom's favorite, she did not like Frank Sinatra or the others. She said he was so down to earth and as famous as he got, he always kept his barber's license in case he fell on hard times!
We are studying the Lord's prayer right now in church. This morning was about forgiveness...and how it says to forgive us our (debts) sins and we forgive those who sin against us. It is so convicting.
By grace through faith God forgave us...and sometimes we forget to extend grace to others.
We all need to be reminded from time to time. Since we are all just sinners...saved by grace!
Love you Karin. Have a blessed Lord's Day.

My Love! Hans Peter Ristau November 24, 1939 - May 21, 2013 EULOGY presented by his son Dr. Kenneth Andrew Ristau Hans Peter Ristau was born to Karl and Martha Ristau on November 24th, 1939, in Berlin, Germany, only two and half months after the start of the War. Peter’s mother had five children from a previous marriage; with Karl she had Klaus, Peter and Renate. After spending a year in the care of his Tante Emma, he was reunited with his father, who had remarried. His step-mother Anna’s deep personal faith led the family into the community at the German Mission Baptist Church, where the entire family was baptized on November 6, 1955. Foreshadowing God’s ...
Welcome all BATW visitors !! Debbie does a wonderful job taking us to fascinating places around the world! Thank you so much! So, grab a hot chocolate, or that second cup and enjoy the visit. Here are some facts about the Province of Alberta, part of western Canada, where we've lived for 37 years! Thanks to Doris for this lovely winter scene! Didn't have my own! It's winter here now but we do get the four seasons and they are beautiful. Love this photo - thanks Evi! The days are getting longer and soon we will have spring again! The trees should have green leaves by Mother's Day! Alberta's license plates read, WILD ROSE COUNTRY. Click on the rose to read more about it! Alberta had it's centennial celebrations in September '05! We're still quite young! If a 21 year old had ten bucks to his name in 1905 he could buy 64 hectares - over 150 acres. Of course it had stipulations, but wouldn't that be fantastic nowadays. I'd even pay $1000.00, oh ...
Thank you for your support and prayers as hubby and I go through this difficult and challenging time with regards to our health. We know our heavenly Father will never leave us or forsake us! May God be glorified through it all! Hugs to you all!
