BEFORE THE SNOW FLIES

Hubby and I are heading down south

Looking forward to seeing these pastoral scenes

along the way that will bring us ever closer

to our kids and kidlets in southern Alberta.

Pray for traveling mercies please!

Wide open spaces!
Green Acres is the place to be!
(If you're old enough have I got you singing the theme song?)

Wonder if the Pickers looking for antiques
have been here.

So many farms have man-made homes for cutter bees!

Check out the information about the cutter bees HERE

Things probably won't look as green

as I took these photos in the spring!

It's got a rugged beauty any time of year.

HAVE A BLESSED WEEK-END EVERYONE!

Have a safe trip and a wonderful time! My hubby and I will be heading south (well, Kentucky) for a few days next week because he'll be preaching in a meeting. Guess that means you and I can make Internet connections again when we've returned from our respective ventures.

(Speaking of ventures, would you really, truly help me out by reading a few chapters of my German genealogy book? Drop me an email or FB message after you get back home.)

I have to tell you how funny it strikes me to read that you are heading south - to Alberta! It's all in the perspective. :)
Have a great time!

Hmmm...bees in straws. Now you know I will think of those bees every time a suck on a straw! Yes, I've got that goofy Green Acres song in my head now. It seems you haven't posted in awhile. Anyway, ever since your last post, I've been humming "This Is My Father's World", now it's replaced with Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor! Prayers for safe travel coming up! Have a blast!!

thanks for the lovely photos, Karin, and enjoy the green scenery while you can. I understand winters in Canada are pretty harsh!

Have a wonderful weekend and a safe trip down south ;-)
