STILL BLOOMING!
Count your many blessings, name them one by one
and it will surprise you what the Lord has done!


16. A date with grandson who has a birthday on 9-11

17. Brother-in-law’s birthday and a lovely chat on the phone

18. A generous friend who is treating me to a special event

19. Jobs for the two sons-in-law –
whose teaching positions for the upcoming year
were not assured at first

20. Loving phone conversations with other family members

21. A vehicle that works well and had its fall check-up

22. A drive into the beautiful countryside then down to the cemetery

23. The joy of the Lord is my strength

24. That He loves me just as I am – and still keeps working on me

25. Contentment – though not everything is as hoped for

26. A hot cup of milk before bedtime

27. Changing of the seasons - 
though we didn't have much of a summer

28. A song that keeps going round and round 
How Great Thou Art!

29. My family and friends -
the world needs more wonderful people like you!

30. You - if you are reading this!

Yes, we need to count our blessings every day, and try to focus on them instead of the things that aren't as we want them! I see you are very richly blessed!

You are my blessing, Karin.... We do have so many blessings, don't we? You drink a cup of hot milk before bed and I drink a glass of cold milk before bed. How 'bout that????? ha

Welcome all BATW visitors !! Debbie does a wonderful job taking us to fascinating places around the world! Thank you so much! So, grab a hot chocolate, or that second cup and enjoy the visit. Here are some facts about the Province of Alberta, part of western Canada, where we've lived for 37 years! Thanks to Doris for this lovely winter scene! Didn't have my own! It's winter here now but we do get the four seasons and they are beautiful. Love this photo - thanks Evi! The days are getting longer and soon we will have spring again! The trees should have green leaves by Mother's Day! Alberta's license plates read, WILD ROSE COUNTRY. Click on the rose to read more about it! Alberta had it's centennial celebrations in September '05! We're still quite young! If a 21 year old had ten bucks to his name in 1905 he could buy 64 hectares - over 150 acres.
