In the early evening hours,
a leisurely stroll through our beautiful courtyard,
is a special time of meditation,
prayer and spiritual refreshment!
prayer and spiritual refreshment!
Here are just a few shots I took with my iPhone
- thankfully last night -
because today
we had 'monsoon-like' rain for half the day
we had 'monsoon-like' rain for half the day
that bent the flowers out of shape!
Hope they recuperate after that beating!
The barn got a new roof a while back!
I could have taken a few more pics
of the sitting area in front of the barn
where we gather some evenings
for conversation. Open to all!
Such beautiful raised garden beds -
so handy for our residents.
All the delphiniums and daisies are offspring
of perennials from my own garden.
I donated them when I first started working there
27 years ago!

Volunteers keep this garden a real show piece!
And HE walks with me and HE talks with me
and HE tells me I am His own!
And the joy we share, as we tarry there,
none other has ever known!
Thanks for stopping by!

The garden truly is beautiful and made all the more special by your connection to it!
It is really just beautifully kept. I love the big wagon with the pump and jar in front of the barn. All these different flowers, and the S shape of the flower bed is really beautiful.
I love the hymn, In the Garden... It was my mother's favorite hymn...
Your gardens are AWESOME. You have such a neat place where you can take a stroll. SO pretty... Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,

Nothing beats walking and talking with Jesus and among the beauty of the flowers even better medicine for the spirit. Praying for the best for you Karin.

You come to my mind often and I just ask God to give you the comforts that you need for each day.
So pretty Karin....Hope you're doing well....I know you have a lot of beautiful memories to think about and what better place, than in a garden of beautiful flowers...
hugs to you
What a beautiful, peaceful place to meet Him! Wishing you God's best, Karin! I am just popping in while taking an extended blogging break, but I haven't forgotten my blogger friends.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful garden with us. I'm glad you got these pictures before the monsoon rain hit.
Hi Karin...it was so nice to see you stop by this morning and say hello!
The flowers most definitely are a show case and wonderful eye candy.
Such a lovely place. Hope you have a blessed Sunday.
The flowers are lovely. They lift the spirits, don't they. I love that song, too - In the Garden
