..........our sense of frustration when someone repeats things over and over
..........our lack of empathy for the losses another may feel
..........our simply doing our 'duty visit' rather than being fully engaged with the person
..........our hardened hearts
..........our discomfort with those
who are different from us
..........and everywhere there is the word 'our' it truly is 'MY'!

We --as a people these days-- seem to be more selfish and less caring than past generations. We are too busy to show love and compassion to others. Forgive us...

Thank you, Karin,for the wonderful video and the prayer. We have so much for which we need forgiveness -- much of it because of simply not being aware of others around us.
This is one of the most outstanding video clips that I have seen. We use it in our local hospital for orientation to help new volunteers better understand their patients. Each time it brings tears to my eyes.
