BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS

 Love these freesias
they lasted two weeks!

Rejoice in bounty and blessings
give thanks for your banquet of life!
Your treasured family
your faithful, dear friends
your deep-rooted faith
those wonderful seasons
sweet newness of spring
sultry long-days of summer
strong colors of autumn
pure,crisp, cold of winter
good health you enjoy
great food on the table
a warm bed for your head
sun rising each brand new day
God's mercy and grace freely given
along your life's journey and way
through mountains and valleys,
down rivers, maybe peaceful or swift,
full of freedom, adventures, what a great gift!
Precious memories etched on our heart -
of love, of travel, of folks near and dear
and those kind words of strangers
that encourage and lift us and cheer.
With our lips let us share this with others;
yes, let's joyfully all do our part.
For THANKSGIVING is the giving of thanks
from the depth of a grateful heart!

Thanksgiving was never meant to be
a once-a-year-food-fest event
but an attitude of gratitude to God
for the bountiful blessings He's sent!
