GENTLE BREEZES BLOW

Just read this in an e-mail:

It's winter here in Canada
And the gentle breezes blow
Umpteen miles an hour,
at thirty-five below.
Oh, how I love this Canada
when the snow's up to your butt,
You take a breath of winter
and your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
so I guess I'll hang around,
...I could never leave Canada,
cuz I'm frozen to the ground!

It's been freezing around here, too! 19F last night; supposed to be 14F tonight! Definitely much colder than usual!

In Mongolia, our eyelashes and hair would freeze on our way to church. Yikes!

Too funny!
It's cold here, but not that cold!

Love the poem, Karin. I have one other blog friend in Canada, and I'm afraid I could not tolerate your brutal temps! Take care!

This is cool....
It could very well be written about the state of Colorado Winters here in USA too.

But I like the Canadian version.

And your 'update' is sooooooooo wonderful to read.

Oh darlin', I can identify with the poem. There have been days out there doin' chores that the ice crystals form on my lashes and the tears freeze to my cheeks but today is not one of 'em.

I chored today a sunny 53 degree day. It's wonderful out there!

Have a blessed week sweetie!!! :o)
