I work in a first grade classroom. The song made me cry. God gives patience, love and oh so much more. Know that if you are doing well with a child with autism you are a hero. Many parents don't do well - autism can make you weary. Thank you for sharing your life with us. What sweet and beautiful girls!

Thank you Rita and welcome! Our two grands are boys - one is 11 next month in one daughter's family and the other is 3 in May in our son's family! God is good!

This is a sadly beautiful song. Autism used to affect only one in thousands, it is growing so rapidly!! Boys get it much more often, for some reason. I have been following Jennie McCarthy on T.V. as she talks about her son, and what she has been doing with him, he has improved so much that he is almost totally better now. Phil works with quite a few of the Aspberger's people. I hope they are getting closer to finding out the cause.

That was a heart touching video. I can feel your love for your grandchildren, and I know how special those "special" little ones can be, and how much they need us. My 10 year-old stepson has ADHD.

What a beautiful, yet sad video. The song made me cry. "love is stronger than the pain", is an expression I will carry with me through my own dark days of missing David.

Bless you and your family. With your love and care, I'm sure your little grandchildren will blossom and grow.

Here are some facts about the Province of Alberta, part of western Canada, where we've lived for 37 years! Thanks to Doris for this lovely winter scene! Didn't have my own! It's winter here now but we do get the four seasons and they are beautiful. Love this photo - thanks Evi! The days are getting longer and soon we will have spring again! The trees should have green leaves by Mother's Day! Alberta's license plates read, WILD ROSE COUNTRY. Click on the rose to read more about it! Alberta had it's centennial celebrations in September '05! We're still quite young! If a 21 year old had ten bucks to his name in 1905 he could buy 64 hectares - over 150 acres.
