This video makes a good point while being extremly amusing at the same time!! But you do have an eventful day planned, Karin. I would call making soup an event!!! Just about my favorite food! Could you waft some smell my way through the screen?
The unmistakable style of Jake Hess,I love it.On a side note,I cooked soup today too and baked duns to go with it.looking forward to supper. If you lived closer I would share some with you. Ruth
Well, I'm really one of those who loves being 'home' and enjoying my own surroundings. It's always an added plus with a hot bowl [or cup] of homemade soup that warms the innards!! Right along with the warm heart and soul.
Thank you for visiting with me this past week. Since I've not been around on the computer much I'm trying to stop by and visit with my blogging buddies today and sending along wishes for your upcoming week...that it be a happy one!!!
aw... that was a fun video. I loved it. Especially because I do love old people. It's funny because I just had breakfast this morning with my best friend from church, Barb, who is in her 70's. When I left her, I was actually thinking that quite a few of my best friends are elderly. I just feel so much comfortable and joyful around them. So much to learn and so much to share.

My Love! Hans Peter Ristau November 24, 1939 - May 21, 2013 EULOGY presented by his son Dr. Kenneth Andrew Ristau Hans Peter Ristau was born to Karl and Martha Ristau on November 24th, 1939, in Berlin, Germany, only two and half months after the start of the War. Peter’s mother had five children from a previous marriage; with Karl she had Klaus, Peter and Renate. Klaus, Renate and Peter at their last visit So glad Renate was able to visit for a few weeks before Peter died. Karl immigrated to Canada in 1950, settling in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Martha and the children followed later. Tragically, Peter's mother, Martha, died of cancer shortly afterwards. After spending a year in the care of his Tante Emma, he was reunited with his father, who had remarried. His step-mother Anna’s deep personal faith led the family into the community at the German Mission Baptist Church, where the entire family was baptized on November 6, 1955. Foreshadowing God’s ...
Welcome all BATW visitors !! Debbie does a wonderful job taking us to fascinating places around the world! Thank you so much! So, grab a hot chocolate, or that second cup and enjoy the visit. Here are some facts about the Province of Alberta, part of western Canada, where we've lived for 37 years! Thanks to Doris for this lovely winter scene! Didn't have my own! It's winter here now but we do get the four seasons and they are beautiful. Love this photo - thanks Evi! The days are getting longer and soon we will have spring again! The trees should have green leaves by Mother's Day! Alberta's license plates read, WILD ROSE COUNTRY. Click on the rose to read more about it! Alberta had it's centennial celebrations in September '05! We're still quite young! If a 21 year old had ten bucks to his name in 1905 he could buy 64 hectares - over 150 acres. Of course it had stipulations, but wouldn't that be fantastic nowadays. I'd even pay $1000.00, oh ...
Thank you for your support and prayers as hubby and I go through this difficult and challenging time with regards to our health. We know our heavenly Father will never leave us or forsake us! May God be glorified through it all! Hugs to you all!

I ate a salad for dinner and it wasn't quite as filling as soup would have been.(:>)

I must show this to The Bear because I was teasing him today about the two "old people" he is "privileged" to have at home. :)
