- Through all the circumstances of life, the mountain-top experiences and the deepest valleys, I have found Jesus Christ to be the same. HE is all I need! As He lives His life IN me to achieve His Will, I am totally amazed that He can work THROUGH me at the same time. I want to be a shining example of His love and grace to others. The love of my life, Peter, died in May of 2013. I am mother of 3, mom-in-love of 3, grandmother of 10, great grandmother of 2, sister, cousin, aunt, niece, colleague and friend. this has long been one of my favorite Christmas songs, if not the very favorite!
Hope . . . what a gift! We lit the hope candle on our advent wreath at church today. Celebrating Advent is one of my favorite holiday traditions.
Is not "Emmanuel" one of the most comforting names of Christ? The fact that He is with me gets me through many a day! How glorious a reason to rejoice!
I LOVE this! My favorite song! The longing for the Emmanuel -- I long for Him to come back even now.
