SUMMERTIME IS ALMOST OVER
EVERYTHING TURNS AUTUMN GOLD
PRETTY SOON THE SNOW WILL FLY
TURNING NATURE BLEAK AND COLD.
EVEN THOUGH WINTER IS FREEZING
MY HEART’S ATTITUDE STAYS WARM
SUCH BEAUTY MAKES MY SPIRIT SING!
EVERY DAY OF CRISP COLD WINTER
RETURNS ME TO THE JOY OF SPRING!
He changes times and seasons;
he sets up kings and deposes them.
He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to the discerning. Daniel 2:21

I love this! I get a little down this time of year because I dread winter. This is a perfect reminder!
This is great, what a wonderful idea! It gives me an idea to copy this, do four pictures representing the seasons!! But I love your poem to go with the pictures! My favorite is playing in the leaves, an outstandingly joyful image!!!
Isn't it wonderful that there are four seasons? Life would get pretty boring if we only had one season all year long. That's the way I felt living in Texas... It was almost like summer year round... I hated it --and missed my mountains and the seasons so much... Thank Goodness I moved back.
Hugs,
Betsy
That is a great idea, you have such a lot of imagination!
Love your photos and your words.

Cool photos and poem. And the verse was perfect to match the poem. I love fall and even winter, but fall is probably my favorite season.
This was just lovely, Karin...
Thanks for this post. With Christ in our hearts every day can be springtime.

Wonderful reminder of the changing seasons and of our constant God.

What a beautiful tribute to our changing seasons. I love it.
I love the heartfelt thoughts of September...I can feel that in my bones...but I keep welcoming it!
