Dear volunteer, we count on you
to bring our residents each day
your warm bright smile,
and helpful hands along life's lonesome way.

We know that we can count on you!
Your willing heart says, "Yes, let's go!"
No matter what there is to do.
Our volunteers just don't say, "No'."

We count the hours, count the years,
we count it all a pleasure!
But God's the One who counts good deeds;
His love for you we cannot measure.

We count it joy; simply refreshing~
we count the blessings without end!
To Shepherd's Care and all of us -
Each volunteer ~ a special friend!

PS every volunteer received a practical gift of a pocket calculator!

What a great way to tell them that they count.

Love your poems, Karin... You have made your volunteers so happy this week I'm sure. They are special---and you make them feel special.

God Bless.

That is a lovely idea, we've had a few gifts, not that we expect them.
Thanks for your lovely posts this week.
Richest Blessings.

I have enjoyed looking at your volunteer poems. Very fitting. I feel like now I have a collection of new poems for future events.
It's so good to share ideas.
