SCRIPTURE SONG

The Apostle Paul appeals to Christians in
Colossians 3:16,
"Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly
in all wisdom, teaching and
admonishing one another in
psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

What's your favorite song or chorus?

It's so hard to pick a favorite. I love "Amazing Grace" and "In the Garden". Of course, the "Hallelujah Chorus" always sends chills up my spine.

Oh --hard question, Karin. Like George, there are so many. I love hearing the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing "This is my Father's World"... It sends chills. At Christmas, my fav is "O Holy Night".... I could go on and on...

Hugs,
Betsy

Ave Maria has always been my favorite. It was sung at our wedding 50 years ago in April. Those beautiful bushes in my mosaic are burning bushes. I don't know what the botanical name is, but they are everywhere here. I don't know about Ginko trees. I might have seen them not knowing what they were called. Have a great day.

Thanks all for sharing your thoughts! Invariably the song I hum to myself most often in a variety of life circumstances is How Great Thou Art! It's almost uncanny!
