The babbling brooks
The crystal clear falls
The rolling rivers
Rush down the mountains
Strive through deep gorges
Meander through lush valleys
Become ultimately one
with the vast oceans,
Giving up their own identity
Beginning their new destiny
So too must my will
Be totally immersed
in the will of the Holy Spirit
No longer am I me
But totally immersed in Him
Under His control
Yielded to Him, willingly,
who is now everything to me
I long to be one
with the One who loves me eternally.

Dear Karin that poem really moved me. For the first time in my life, due to the fact I have no pressing commitments on my time, I fell that I am rolling along with the spirit. I have always tried but so many pulls and tugs on my time and energy I had nothing left to give for a while. Maybe I was fighting too much against the spirit. I tried to be the best wife and mother and employee and citizen and church member I could.

Beautiful Karin. As usual, I love your poems. Hope you have a safe and good trip west. I'm leaving tomorrow for 5 days with my childhood friends in a cabin in NC. I'll be home Sunday. Will miss you while you are gone.

Thanks QMM and Betsy! I certainly can! relate to those feeling QMM. I've been through and am still working through some of those same thoughts and feelings. God is faithful and He'll bring us through! Hugs!
