THUNDER STORM

Just enjoyed the first thunderstorm of the season. It was very short. I wish the rain had washed the windows in the process ~lol! Thunderstorms always leave me awestruck at the greatness of God! I am reminded of the passage in Job 37. The weather is often a topic of our conversation but how often do we give glory to God for the subtle changes in the weather each and every day? All the days of our lives are a gift from our Creator. Job 37:5 "God's voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding. " What an awesome God!

We enjoyed the thunderstorm yesterday too! Sam gets scared when the thunder is so loud... but eventually I think he will adapt and appreciate it as an awesome display of God's power and majesty. Personally I'm just glad my new flowers survived the brief downpour and hail!

Ouch, you had hail!! We didn't. I'm glad your little flowers are fine. For them a gentle rain is much better.

I think the storm musted have been more fierce and lasted longer over here...just a few miles from your place. Strange.
I absolutely LOVE thunderstorms.
Dad instilled that love into me. I recall it well.
