NEW LIFE

Winter’s white blanket is melting away;
Warm breezes gently are blowing.
Sun sends her rays to awaken the flowers.
New life through everything’s flowing.
Robins return with their beautiful song.
Trees will be dressing in velvety green.
Blossoms abound with a heady perfume.
Everywhere new life is seen.
Just as the earth is now filled with new life,
Christ can bring cold hearts the newness of spring.
For a life that awakes from the ice frost of winter
Will blossom, bear fruit, be a beautiful thing!

I think that is why SPRING is my most favorite time of year! New Life - new hope - new growth - warm breezes, sunshine, GOd surely has blessed us in even the simplest of things!

Hope you have a great week Karin!

All the snow gone now?

Tomorrow when I teach my adult ESOL students, I decided to teach the Easter Story from the Bible, not the chocolate eggs, and bunnies.

This post does fit this time of year and is very pretty too!!

Finally our snow has melted and none forcasted! It's been such a long winter that my poor flowers are very confused! lol Hopefully they will try to come up yet again. I saw bits of green this past weekend. Which was beautiful by the way! :-)

Happy, happy Spring, Karin!!
Hugs,
Coreen xoxo

We survived the winter! I think we might say the exact same thing when we get to Heaven, don't you think? :)

BTW, beautiful poem and photo.

That poem describes my Nature walk that I did with my three year old. Finding those first daffodils, dandelions, narcissus, you name it and best of all the little baby lambs.
That's a very encouraging poem...as you said, Christ can bring cold hearts the newness of spring.

Karin,

I didn't know you were a poet. Lovely and a good reminder for us all as Easter is quickly approaching. Love the video.
